Clyde Marina is proud to continue working closely with The Green Blue, which is the joint environmental programme between the Royal Yachting Association and British Marine. As part of this work our marina has successfully introduced environmental policies, action plans, adopted and facilitated best practice as well as monitoring performance to make further improvements year on year.

For example, we have recycling bins at our skip and waste areas and we ask for your assistance in responsibly separating and disposing of waste for recycling.

We would also like to draw your attention to the Scottish Governments policy aimed at limiting he introduction and spread of Invasive Non-Native Species in and around Scottish waters, as outlined in The Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. In accordance with this we have installed a filtered wash down area where boats can be lifted and washed off to remove biofouling (which may contain invasive species) as well as capture and filter out any antifoul residue. We ask that your boat is lifted, washed and antifouled annually to help prevent the growth and spread on invasive species.
