Located on Arran`s north west corner the village is set on the shore of Loch Ranza. The bay, with good moorings, is dominated by it`s castle built into the bay on a shingle spit. Lochranza is a favourite spot for red deer, grey seals, otters and sightings of golden eagles. Or for a tasting take a trip to the Isle of Arran distillery and it`s single malts.
